...Wolverine had been sent to retrieve Xavier's files during Operation Zero Tolerance?" In your world, the hero known as Cable (Nathaniel Dayspring Summers) was entrusted with the knowledge and location of certain files created by Prof. Xavier. Inside the database Xavier had included a complete list of all Neo and active mutants he had ever met. The Neo list included 100s of young mutants known to be evolving into their powers. It was lists like this (coupled with other sensitive files), that brought the mutant hunting Bastion to Xavier's school. With full government backing, Bastion had gained a Search Warrant to inspect the grounds. Fearing Bastion would find (and decrypt) his files Prof. Xavier contacted Cable. Bastion meanwhile, had ordered his troops to strip the mansion down to the very wood! Every bit of technology was taken. Luckily Cable arrived before Bastion could find Xavier's files, and he escaped, taking out Xavier's computers as he did. But, What If...? "What if Xavier had been unable to contact Cable? "Who else would he have entrusted?" "What If Wolverine had been sent by Xavier to retrieve his files during O.Z.T.?" X-TENSION! Welcome to the X-Tension RPG website! This site (and the others mentioned within)Is dedicated to my X-Tension X-men Role Playing Game*. Within you'll find out what a RPG is, and what it takes to become one of America's hottest mutants! X-Tension is an RPG*. This means that you get to take on the part (or role) of a comic book type character and guide and control it through the RPG universe. Being based on an X-Men comicbook, X-Tension takes place in the Marvel Universe, home to such wonderful characters as Spiderman, the Hulk, the X-men and more! As part of X-Tension you'll get to move amongst and meet some of the greatest Marvel has to offer! X-Tension is "played" through a message board (The #2 X-MEN RPG club on Yahoo!), with each person assuming the role of their character. Members interact through postings, with me acting as moderator, as they explore the Marvel Universe and Beyond.... X-Tension makes use of ORIGINAL characters only, so you can't take roles such as Captain America, Storm or Wolverine. This frees players of the histories and baggage associated with copywrited characters and allows you to create an epic history all your own! I make use of the Marvel Super Heroes Advance Role Playing Game rules. As such, many of the characters and bio's you'll see within will be accompanied by some strange initials and write-ups. The learning and use of the MSHARPG rules are totally OPTIONAL. I use them only as a yard stick to judge characters (and actions) on, and they do not "appear" in any posts or actions made in the message boards. X-Tension is in it's third year of nonstop action, and plans and plots are already developing for year four! What began as one Yahoo message board club on Nov 3, 1999 has spread to 3 websites, 8 yahoo clubs, and one hell of a webring!
